Richmond Hornets Baseball Club program was originally established in 2009 as a minority-owned non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving youth ages 8 – 18 by Coach Hayes Smith.

Today we're excited to announce the Richmond Hornets by Hitters Count Sports as a Newly / Rebooted Richmond area based travel baseball organization. Our approach and model remains the same!

We strive to provide players, including minority and under-served youth, an opportunity to participate in a quality baseball program. Our staff of volunteer coaching professionals teach players the most efficient and effective skill-building methods and fundamentals of baseball with an emphasis on preparing them for the next levels of play in middle school, high school and, ultimately, college.

In addition to player development, we focus on building character, leadership, respect, confidence and transforming athletes into future leaders both on the field and beyond the diamond.
