Hornets in the Community

Hitters Count Sports has very strong links to its local community and to the local schools throughout the Central Virginia region, and we teach these young men to be model students and to give back to the community. Our motto is “Model Student=Model Athlete” and we strongly believe in teaching giving principles to provide our players critical life lessons and a roadmap to success on the field and off the field. We do this by exposing our players to hands-on community service which benefits the recipients of the good deeds but also benefits our team by infusing leadership and volunteerism skills in our players.

We look forward to working with many of our sponsors and donors on future community projects.

Hornets Volunteer for Feed My Starving Children

The Richmond Hornets hit a homerun off the field and made a tremendous impact with 29 players, family members and friends volunteering for the Feed My Starving Children mobile pack event at Gayton Baptist Church. The Hornets packed meals, participated financially, made food, swept floors, and so much more.
